Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel received her Doctorate of Dental and Oral Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York’s Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery, in 1996.

During her dental studies, She received a “Columbia Research Scholarship” and was published in the Journal of Renal Physiology.

She completed a General Practice Residency at the Allegheny General Hospital, and then worked in a private practice in New York performing specialized dental treatments including root canals, crowns, bridges, and partial dentures. She later worked for HealthDrive, providing geriatric care in a nursing home setting.

Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel was the first dentist at The Smile Center of the Rowan County Health Department, working exclusively on children between 9 months to 18 years of age.

She currently has an attending privilege at the local hospital, providing dental care for special needs patients of all ages under general sedation.

Dr. Hetal Amin-Patel started her private practice in 2001 with a vision to provide each and every patient with individualized quality dental care while remaining at the cusp of technology.
